Seeds of Hope

It saddens me to see the
Bright light of your soul so dim
The love and compassion
That you have shared in this life has
Made the world a better place
In times of great sorrow
It can be difficult to
Balance the pain with
All of the blessings
Surrounding you in life
It can be far too easy
To allow the pain
To take the reign
And lose sight of
The joy and goodness of life
So just know that the deepness
Of your pain is a sign
Of the immense capacity to
Love and be loved
Within You
The power of love will carry
You through the journey
To discover the flicker and
Seeds of new hope
Upon the horizon
So these seeds of hope
Have been left for you
As a symbolic way
To help start the New Year
With Love and Hope
My hope is that your sadness
Will wither as the sprouts of
These seeds begin to blossom
Reminding you of the joy in loving
All of those that have passed and
Make you smile
