A Poet's Swiss Army Knife, by Andrew Rymill Subscribe to rss feed for Andrew Rymill

A poet will always have a swiss army knife in their pocket.
Such a useful tool will always help
In Carving a well shaped concrete poem. A proper poet”s
pocket knife will contain:

*Spoon-aphore
*Fork-aphore
*Knife-aphore

*Saw-aphore
*Scissor-aphore
*Screwdriver-aphore
*File-aphore

A poet could survive a long time in the wilderness. Carving
compact tight poems that would help in surviving the great
expanses of whitespace and the unfriendly attention of
punc·tu·a·tion that will stalk and prowl around at
night.Such are the dangers of commas & periods that stay at
the very periphery of the campfires starring with hungry
eyes. Oh how the symbols crackle and rusting similes
flicker with flames.
