“No complaints, overwhelmed by blessings”

There’s bad blood coursing through the veins of kin,
A brother’s wrath ignites a simmering flame;
His sister’s choice, a man he deems unfit,
A whimpering sycophant, devoid of shame.

In shadows cast, the brother’s words take flight,
“Your husband’s weak, a puppet on a string,”
With venom laced, he speaks in bitter spite,
While hatred swells, a dark and festering thing.

The brother-in-law, with eyes like stormy seas,
Sees only cruelty in the brother’s glare;
He feels the weight of every harsh decree,
A bully’s heart, a heart that does not care.

Thus, tangled fates weave webs of spite and fear,
Two souls at odds, their kinship torn and sheer.
