“No complaints, overwhelmed by blessings”

In realms of grandeur, where royal courts do shine,
A maiden fair, Iliana, held sway,
Heir to the throne, with beauty's divine,
Her heart, a prize, for which brave knights would pray.

Fando, a youth, with passion's fervent fire,
Didst fall beneath her spell, his soul ensnared,
By eyes like sapphires shining bright and dire,
And lips that curved, like rosebuds, soft and fair.

But alas, fair maid, with wit so sharp as knife,
Didst pose a riddle, test of love's true might,
"Who am I," she asked, "in darkness and in life?"
"If thou canst answer, mine heart shall be thy right."

Fando, with courage bold, didst take the stage,
And vowed to solve the riddle, come what may).

His friends, a band of scholars, skilled and wise,
Didst gather 'round, to unravel the surprise,
Together they pored, o'er ancient texts and lore,
To find the key, and unlock the secret door.

With every passing hour, their hopes didst rise,
As pieces fell into place, like stars in skies,
The answer dawned, like sunrise in the east,
And Fando's heart leapt high, with triumph's sweet release.

"I know thee now," he cried, with joyful shout,
"In darkness and in life, thou art devout,
Thy heart beats strong, with love's unyielding might,
Iliana, fairest, thou art my guiding light."
