Josie's Snowball Saga, by Artremis Subscribe to rss feed for Artremis

Beneath the frosty sky,
Josie's laughter floated,
as the world transformed—
white wonder, rolling whispers of winter.

Caught in a whirlwind of playful chaos,
the snowball gathered dreams and giggles,
growing grander, faster, wilder;
her calls for help swallowed by the wind.

Through childhood's hills she raced,
a princess trapped in a magical sphere,
spinning into the unknown, flirting with fear—
adventurous leaps blurring lines between girlhood and daring
woman.

The world blurred by in shades of white,
echoes of friends' laughter at her snowy fate—
then came the rough bump! Ah!
Like a comet she soared from frosty confines,
landing on the asphalt of reality;

a soft thud against time’s edge.
They laughed—her darling companions—
chuckling at her snowy escapade.
Could it be? A lesson wrapped in joy:
there's magic still in falling down.
