The Weight of Dreams

Two boys on a sinking ship they created,
Chasing the riches where fantasies awaited.
In the laughter of youth and the thrill of the chase,
They wove golden stories, forgotten in space.

Yet time is a thief, and the tides they must bend,
For treasures not measured by wealth they defend.
In the arms of their families, their laughter rings true,
In the heart of resilience, love's spark shines anew.

In the quiet of night, when the stars feel so near,
He dreams of adventures and places austere.
But morning's light whispers, and reality calls,
Happiness nestled in life's simple stalls.

For the man with his wife, built a castle of grace,
Thirty years cherished in time’s warm embrace.
With gratitude glowing like embers in hand,
They journey through seasons, together they stand.

Through conflict and struggle, when shadows loom tall,
Strength blooms in the heart, for love conquers all.
Underneath the thunder of fears that persist,
Hope dances like eagles, in the depths of the mist.

For memories linger, like echoes of light,
In the tapestry woven by days and by nights.
A monster seeks kindness, wishing for change,
While the whispers of legends feel eerie and strange.

So let time carry dreams, the laughter, the tears,
In the story we write, through the ebb of our years.
For amidst all the trials, in life’s sweetest blend,
Together we grow, and our spirits transcend.
