The Fourth Of July

The Fourth Of July So this is the fourth of July The noisiest day of the year Explosions and sparkles and apple pie And hot dogs, hamburgers and beer People heading for camp sites Cars piled high with tents and boats Lotion for sun burn and skeeter bites Tubes and stuff, as long as it floats Sun high in the sky beating down Waves lashing the shore People lying on white, hot sand turning brown This is the way of July four July four is ruled by the moon A day when people laugh and are gay A three day vacation, over too soon And July four is my BIRTHDAY!
