Who Is She?, by Lunaria
|
Putting on my walking shoes, big and brown
I have the intention of going to town
Pulling my pants up over my butt
before the mirror I begin to strut
Hmmmm, who is this person staring at me
I've not seen her before, who could she be
She's wearing my clothes and ripping out the seam
Fatter than I , she's not one but a team
When did she move in here with me?
Where did she get my house key?
I get up at night to have a snack
She beats me to it and jumps back in the sack
She follows me to the grocery store
I'm finished shopping but she throws in more
Candy, cookies, sweet stuff like that
Good grief, no wonder she's so fat.
She's been in my checkbook, too, I see
The bank called me yesterday, said I owe a fee
If I leave money laying around
She'll grab it and run to town
She takes my car and runs it out of gas
This one sure has lots of brass
I try to confront her but she quickly hides
She shows herself only when she decides
In the mirror I am combing my hair
Suddenly her big face is there
She wears all my makeup packs it on thick
I try to confront her, she runs away quick
I go to the mirror and try to see
And right away she jumps in front of me
She eats my food and wears my clothes
How long she'll stay noone knows
