Here I Stand

Here I Stand
Life proceeded with wobbly steps,
an outreached hand;
of learning faith and trust.
It traveled on with skips and jumps.
a determined mind;
learning patience and knowledge.
It gallantly marches on,
in pride and conviction;
learning obedience and character.
I pause for a moment,
looking back,
to see the progress set forth.
Has my pace become steadfast?
Do I travel with a stout heart?
Did my choices impact the world for the better?
This is my trail I've blazed,
and here I stand with firmness.
I now move on with surety; from here, and onward.
