Tree, by thndrhwk
|
I feel that I could stand
Here forever
-I am tree
With a heart of wood
So cold in the winter wind
And the icy ground
On my tangled roots.
I can feel the bark armor
Tightening around me
And my wooden heart.
And I wonder if trees
Hurt when they breathe
Like this strange pain.
Do they hurt?
Do they hurt?
Do they cry? |
