Black Half, by Steven Thurlow Subscribe to rss feed for Steven Thurlow

It's dark in here.
No light
But everyone passesthrough at least once.
No hope for those who have already fallen.

Firefly's buzz around my head like a luminious halo lighting
my path.
I can see now.
A path that leads out from the dark!

The pebbled path!
like a scorned backbone of the one that has fallen.
It lies here as a reminder of the fate of a pessimist.

Looking down i see, and feel
Like a flashbackin a dream,
My bones, My identity part of this path
And others walk among them.

I'm now taking my first step!
On this new path, the path of the living.

Out of the cave into the light.
I don't look back . . .
