Turning Tables, by Talya Baker
|
Turning Tables!
You walk into school with fear in your eyes.
There’s sweet tricking down you;
And your sight is a blur.
They’re just around the corner.
Ready in waiting.
You don’t want it to happen.
You know what it’s like;
What it’s like to have your face smashed in.
To hear the nasty jibes each day.
You’re crying now.
There’s no-where left to run.
No-where left to hide.
They’re right in front of you now.
You turn around;
Looking for someone to help.
A place to escape to.
But there’s no-one.
They’re all behind the bullies.
One of them smirks and says;
“We’ll teach you for bullying us!”
