A Moment Like This

By Lovesick and Sick of It

Now a moment like that Oh what a feeling it was You and me and all of the people On the gym floor (turn dance floor) She put us together and told us to dance We (Rather unwillingly) obeyed But now, still, 80 days later, I can still feel *My head (In the clouds, spinning, getting dizzy, being rushed around in five different directions at once and refusing to come down) *The warmth (From you, from me, from the gym around us) *The pain (Of you stepping on my toes. Not once, but twice) *The confusion (I don't know about you, but I had no idea what to say or do... or even think) *The softness (Of your blue shirt against my arms and hands) *Your hands (softly holding my waist) *The sadness (Oh no- the song's ending) *The disappointment (Come on- I KNOW the song's longer than that) *The yearning (Don't go. Please, never go.......) But mostly what lingers on is *The happiness (Which has yet to be matched.... and probably won't be for a while.) *The love (That I realized I had for you that night) *The memory Of the moment The moment like that

Wow. I like this. I am asuming that this is an older one, because I can't match this to an actual situation that I know of.though it must have been 80 days ago atleast. =) Great write. I loved it.
