Love, by Lunaria

Love
I ask the spirits far and wide
If I'll ever have love by my side
Yes indeed , they say with pride
He's already walking by your side
I look and sure enough he's there
His hair is dark. His skin is fair
He wears black jeans. His chest is bare
I didn't know that we're a pair
He's been with me for years and years
Though all my laughter and even tears
And all my silly, silly fears
Now my understanding nears
How dumb am I not to know
That friendship into love does grow
As sure as the north wind does blow
He's by my side and love does flow
