The bitterness I feel
Is a furious and raging storm
Unfairness, isolation, alone
Unjustice in its every form

Getting through each day
Finding the strength through ones I love
Being the solid foundation
Being strong to rise above

Life is a challenge; not a gift
At least, this is the life I lead

A loss so dear
It tears me apart

A love I found
But not returned
Left my heart cold
But a lesson I did learn

The feelings I feel
Are a stranger's; not mine
