...but too afraid to send it Listen all ye people of the earth Hear my cry Here's my cry Let the dreamers Wonder why I'm calling out to you Hear me all ye people of the earth Give me hope Take me, hope Give the world Another chance To sing a song to you Look here, all ye people of the earth That's enough Hats come off Bravery Is never there When it comes to you

I really like this poem, its thought provoking- and i think that good poetry should either be that or it should allow someone else to connect with you. Its a great poem actually, I just re-read it... The short stanza's and metre make it really quite powerful. And I love the reptition...ahh its just a really really good poem!!

i see an ocean of people and someone standing on a hill with a bullhorn and shouting this to them all. it's on a desolate stormy day, graying the faces of everyone below.... of course your poem doesn't have to illustrate that... but it doesn't have to. the sweet simplicity of it just brought upon this setting of a broken world and that final straw of getting everyone together and being very blunt about the present times. i guess anyone can imagine this anywhere, or not imagine anything at all... but yeah... i likes very muchly.

awesome and touching and yes i have felt everything i've ever written about at one point
