patience, by Jay
|
stareing into darkness
nothing left for me
helplessness and hopelessness
where all that i could see
but somewhere in the distance
the love was holding strong
it shone a light to give me strength
how can that love be wrong
slowly i am learning
the patience that i need
and now i'll wait forever
for our feelings to be freed
i'd love to shout it from the roof
and tell the world your mine
but i'll settle for a secret love
yes, that suits me fine
