To Live a Life, by Austin Hoehn
|
to live a life
that you have dreamed,
would be such a pleasant thing.
or would that be the greatest thing?
to live a life that is free of strife.
you would think that would be oh so nice.
but would life really be as fun and intersting
without a little twisting and turning
with some hills to climb,
or without trails that twine.
I just don't think it would be so divine.
twists and turns and
ups and downs
are what make life
so fun and renewing.
to see a new life
come into the world.
to feel the wind brushing your face
or the first taste of love.
life is good, life is great.
so just live with the absurd. |

fun and interesting*
and turning*
climb*
so fun* and renewing...?
i like the last line, but not the next to last. some of your rhyming seems forced. |
