Hallowed Pumkin Eve, by Lunaria

Hallowed Pumpkin Eve
Drat the luck 'All Hallowed Eve' is here
There'll be witches and gouls pinching your rear
There's one now poking about
With a green face and a long snout
On that snout there is a wart
And something else I must report
On the wart there is a hair
Now why in the world is it there?
There's a broomstick flying in the air
There's no witch on it anywhere
Instead there sits a big, fat toad
And there's a spook running down the road
He's lost his sheet so grab it quick
He's gone, that's a neat trick
There's a pumkin with lighted eyes
That will make some tasty pies
Here come the kids dressed to the gills
In scary costumes and frilly frills
Here is one that's dressed like a sailor
I wonder who was his tailor
Here is one dressed as a princess bride
With a jack-o -lantern by her side
There is one dressed like a bum
With a charcoal beard and chewing gum
Kids knock on doors,"trick or treat"
Then running quickly across the street
And hold out their bag for more and more
Being sure to not miss a door
And when it's all said and done
To be sure it was a lot of fun
Halloween cannot be beat
Hey! Who pinched my seat???
