lost in this sea of tears forever growing deeper lost in this mountain of pain forever getting steeper you said you'd save me get me away from it all said you'd give me my second chance that you'd never let me fall then you pushed me under wouldn't give me air then you pulled me higher giving the mountain a few more stairs the sea grows deeper still with tears i've shed for you the mountain grows steeper still into the sky no longer blue until the day i'll finally drown in my own sea of tears until the day i'll finally fall off my mountain growing all these years
