after all, you're only her daughter.
Im sorry you have to resort to drugs
because reality is *that* terrible for you.
Im sorry i had hope for you
because i thought i was being a good friend.
Im sorry you have to be so blind
and miss out on life's joys.
Im really sorry my life is so much better
because i dont bitch and complain the way you do.
But, my dear, distant, ex-best friend,
what Im really sorry for
is not being good enough for you,
and for all the times i "betrayed" you.
Now that I've apologized for all my "wrong doings"
i hope you have a sense of satisfaction
knowing YOU pushed ME away.
Carry on with your life, like you were going to do anyway.
You're just a memory im working on forgetting about.
