Poetic Affection, by honesty_kills
|
People say that love hurts
I'm willing to take that chance.
Somehoe though, I'm not afraid
because this affection is like a dance.
People say we are so young
To actually know love that is true.
I understand why they say this
Because those who love, are those too few.
A tender kiss
An intimate hug
My world is such a bliss.
Nothing will take me away.
Nothing can compare to you
As if I'd ever try
And if I ever found someone
I would break down and cry.
I know this poem is sappy
But it comes straight from my heart
I know my choice of words is crappy
But hey, this love poem is a start. |

awww a love poem, eventually we all write one I like one and all love poems are sappy no matter how hard we try to make it not sound sappy |

well you chose a good name, if you want to transmorm it to something creative i would suggest generalizing or trying to show pictures rather then using a lot of I's make it seem less personal but not...the best poems have no or little referance to ones self (this is all my opinion mind you) its a good start i would say but it just feels unfinished |
