Apple Day, by Sandwich Massacre
|
Sponged impressions against the electric sky
So cerulean it is and so enchanting
It makes one speak of this day as a beautiful embrace
As one is embraced by such a day
Summer sun bake beach-goers and black top
And scorching sand do children and adults alike tiptoe a
jovial dance
Amply bloomed trees glow verdance
As sun rays reflect off happy canopies
Grassy hills and plains
Tall yellow stalks swing in an angel wisp breeze
Painted in with a bright crimson glow
Shines a red delicious in contrast to its blue and green
proscenium
One cannot deny the essence of these innate colors
To call such a marvel an apple day.
