River, by Luke
|
As the river slowly winds, i take the time to watch and feel
then calmness it breathes through me...i move on seeing
boatmen and there wives working hard all their lives kids
playing on the bank talking times of legends wgen the great
ships sank ancestors on voyages near and far, a great many
treasures lost an found sold in a market, stolen or
discovered by seekers upon the ground it's a great mystery
how these things evolve people keep searching never losing
their resolve. pictures, stories, legends and songs passed
through time and to us they belong. |
