She stopped drinking for about a year, and I actually
believed that she wasn't going to go back to drinking. That
was my mistake because she's drinking again. She's starting
to get drunk more, and I'm starting to get scared. I keep
asking myself what if she hurts me? I should have known she
would start drinking again. Mom's mean when she's drunk she
used to hurt me with her words, and fists when she was
drunk. Now she's drinking again, and this time I might end
up dead all because mom started drinking again.
