Him, by Rodriguez De Paulo
|
He’ll sit and laugh, be part of the group.
For he is a valid member.
But I look at him, and then I weep.
My heart skips a beat,
The pain so deep.
The girl next to him...They are both in love.
But her mind is far from pure.
I see his eyes, sparkle and shine.
A tingle down my spine.
He should be mine, why isn’t he mine?
I cannot say, to anyone else,
That he is the one I love.
But to myself I have admitted it so.
But where will it go?
No-one shall know.
I know for sure he doesn’t feel,
The empathy I feel for him.
If I let him know, I’ll be ostracised,
Criticised
Bastardised
Chastised
Antagonised
Barbarised
Brutalised
