Crisp, clean, fresh fallen snow shimmering like diamonds
the full moon cascading tracing your face in my mind, etched
there forever. Beauty on beauty.
You're breathless, cheecks blushed from love or the winter?
I want to hold you in my arms forever, never letting you
go,
Through the tears only a mother can understand I take in the
wonders of you, your uniqeness, the cold frosty night as you
bid me good-bye. You, on your way to new adventures,
in a hurry.
All I can do is say I love you, watch as you leave and note
in my mind that you are like a new fallen snow full of
promise in the spring.

I loved how your poem is very visual and how it portrays the feelings of a mother at her saddest and yet proudest. |
