No Title as of yet, by Kalie

Her vision is clouded
Though the image is not skewed
It plays like a movie
That she pauses at every
Kiss
Glance
Touch
What has she done?
Did he deserve it?
She shared and had
Everything wtih him.
So why did it end?
Why did she throw
It all away?
Was she afraid,
Naive?
Was she lying?
She hears his voice
With just the touch
Of a button.
His face is everywhere she looks.
Was this her fate?
To fall in love,
Break a heart,
And ache within?
Not knowing what to do
She moves on to the next
Hoping that the pain
Will disipate.
Praying that the sobs will break
And eventually die.
She's fine to the world,
But on the inside
She's screaming;
Screaming for him
His touch
His kiss
Longing to gaze,
Just once more,
Into his deep, loving eyes.
Wishing to feel safe
In his arms.
Praying that one day
She can swallow her pride
Push the fear aside
And be with him again. |
