Choices of an Addict, by Kendall
|
Keeping up appearances, hoping no one sees
Making sure to find a way to get the fix they need
Giving up on everything that mattered to them most
The only thing important is the next hit they can smoke
Family, friends and all dreams slowly fade away
Ending up with nothing left except the pipe and flame
Life becomes a cycle repeating everyday
Secrets kept and lies told are all that still remains
No matter what the cost is or where it leads them to
the pipe and rock conrol them in everything they do
There are two roads to travel which will they maintain
Six Feet Under Avenue or Recovery Lane

yeah people point fingers but its so easy to get sucked into and then the people that do, hate themselves forever, and wish someone would just put their hand out to help them back up off the floor, been there.... |
