There was a time When I would stay home Like I am now, but now I’m Reminiscing writing a poem Before I wouldn’t go out I pictured seeing you go by Seeing you about 1 look might make me cry When you left me I felt so alone Cause you decided to flee I was on my own Now you say You made a mistake You think of me everyday You never meant the heartache But it’s too late You tore us apart You can’t be my soul mate You no longer have my heart

That's what happens a lot. My cousin broke up with her boyfriend and he wanted her back. By the time she realized she really missed him, he had moved on. Great poem. Not that I expected any less. All your poetry is amazing.
