I always told myself Never to fall in love To try and save myself From love Girls came and went And I told them "I love you" But the words weren’t meant But none of them knew Maybe I was scared. Maybe I was dumb. Maybe I feared What was to come Now I met a girl For whom my heart beats More valuable than any pearl What would I do if we didn’t meet? The way she makes me feel I only hope it’s real I hope it’s not now I’m being dumb I hope it’s smart to let my heart succumb

"I love you" - those are powerful words. I've abused them before too. But I think I've learned my lesson now. I don't just say it to anybody. Great job. You're a wonderful writer.
