How hard it is
To describe the pain
That consumes me,
If only you knew
How hard it is to put such pain
Into simple words.
The scream,
The laugh,
The two things that translate
To any language,
And how hard I scream
To any Angel that may be passing above.
Maybe I get no answer
Because they’re already dead,
What do they care?
Maybe I get no answer
Because they’re in Heaven
And I’m in hell down here,
Feeling pain with no bandages
To heal me,
And happiness being
My only possible remedy.
I need that remedy,
I need it badly.
And I've been in pain long enough
To know time isn't a healer,
It just makes the pain worse.
Endless suffering.
I hope I did a good job
