I’m ready to go
I swear to God death is calling me
Dealing with the same feelings
As Jesus at the Garden of Gethsemane
If only you knew what it felt like
To feel nothing
Seeing death around every street corner
And just waiting
The most tempting thing in the world
Is suicide
And I would
Have tried
But all I could see
Was my father’s eyes
The facial expression
Of when your youngest son dies
But I looked life in the eye
And asked “Is this all there is?”
He laughed then said “no, there’s much more
Heartache and pain to come than this.”
So I’ve been drop calling death back every night
Texting at every opportunity
Saying I won’t put up a fight
If you want me, come get me.

| let's face the fact that life is never perfect. sometime suicide seems like the only solution. but think about the great things that i'm sure you have. as no one is perfect, there's always somethings special in every one. like you being able to write such a great poetry out of such pain. :) think in 'half-glass-full' way. once you can solve your problem, you get to the higher level of living your life and it makes your realize how much fun life can have once you achive your goal.
oops. i'm not talking to 'you' ok. i'm talking to the person in your poem. lol :D but it's a nice poem buddy.
