I Never Got The Chance, by The Space Between
The Space Between">
|
I never got the chance
To see you one last time
To renew the wonderful friendship
Cut short in it's prime
To tell you that I really cared
I thought about you often
Now it's just too late
You lie cold in a coffin
I never got the chance to feel you
As I give you one last hug
I tell my friends about you
And all they do is shrug
I never got the chance
to really make you see
How sweet and tender you were
And how great you treated me
I really did think that someday
I'd see you again
I guess that's no excuse
For how I treated you back then
I'm so very sorry,
That's what I want to say
I never got the chance
And that hurts me everyday
