Even when I can only hear your voice I can’t help but smile Simply because of the thought Of your essence here for a while And Lord knows If it wasn't for the phone I’d be longing for you Feeling so alone I hear your sweet voice On the other end And it renews my feeling of happiness That your my girlfriend I have to ask you To repeat what you just said Distracted by thoughts of a future with you Sorry, next time I’ll listen to you instead The phone cuts off And I wish I’d got to say "I love you baby" Sorry… But you know anyway I'm frustrated at, but can’t blame The phone company Since they bring me closer to you… Thank God for technology
