I was once with a girl and I gave her things
My love my trust I gave her everything
She never trusted me and it made me mad
So we soon ended up really bad

Three years later we broke up over the phone
I was so mad I hung up and gave her the tone
When she called back I had no reason to pick up
So I just sat there until she gave up

A week later she called me back
And she said I am sry for this please don't be mad
I told her it's ok we can still be friends 
But what I didn't tell her is that I found out she had sex

After that night I never spoke to her again
Until the day that she came home and started to beg
She told me she was sorry and wanted me back
But I told her that I am better off on my own

A couple weeks later she went back to kansas 
I found out a couple months later that she got pregnant
She is getting married now with a kid on the way
Isn't it sad how things are these days

Now I sit here and think of the things
All the signs that were given to me
I am so glad that I got her out of my life
Or she could have ruined mine

Thank you oh God for helping me out
Now I dont have to be worried about having a spouse
So look at the things that are in my life 
And tell me that I am out of my mind
