Silken white petals unfurl, Across the path of time, Shimmering with droplets, Releasing a fragrance fine, Emerald foliage, Quavers delicately, Dancing in the breeze, To it's own choreography, Snow white paws, Tiptoe over stones, In a black velvet face, Saphire eyes glow, Creamy soft fur, Ripples as she creeps, Under the sighing mulberry tree, She softly falls asleep. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Written for my gorgeous burman cat Shuling (shoe-ling) who is 18 years old in human years, making her 126 I think. She has a lovely personality and enjoys sleeping next to my head on my pillow, I fall asleep to her purring lullaby ever night. I wake up at exactly 7 every morning when she licks my face for breakfast. She is now so fragile that she has to be put to sleep soon, I will miss her so much. Always remembering her as the majestic creature who slept under the willow tree in the rose garden.

Awwww... it's beautiful the way you describe her. I wish my cat was that graceful, instead she's just fat and lazy. Awesome poem!
