Friends, by Dee Becker
|
Friends are
like pieces of eight shining in the sun.
Friends are
like flowers in a garden that's well watered.
Friends are
like company for a poor lonely soul.
Friends are
like joy to a burdensome heart.
Friends are
like steelies in a game of marbles.
Friends are
like funny jokes in a sad movie.
Friends are
like the eyes of raging storms.
Friends are
like the honey in a broken honey pot.
Friends are
like Hallmark cards in the Stephen King book of life.
Friends are
given to us by the Lord Jesus Christ.
