Eye Lined, by . QUEENIE .
|
rimmed in black
dark as coal
hide my ugly
thats the goal.
now just a small stick
once was long
i use so much...
afraid to wash it off
lay it on so thick
bleeding black tears.
and at night
i leave it on
not a fight
to put more on
when morning comes
draw in the
lines I wear
over the previous
smudged ones there
they add weight
to my green eyes
and brighten my hair.
my eyes so dull
you cannot tell
all you see
is the black,
it's just as well.
not too much
just a lot...
fifty times as much
as the naked faces
you think so hot.
but i disagree
i love eyeliner
and mascara,
fake eyelashes,
and bright glosses,
eyeliner is so for me.
play it up
lay it on
never tone it down
it doens't matter
that when adults pass me
they always frown.
i love my makeup
i love my face
without this gunk
i'd be out of place.
they can talk
snicker and laugh
out loud,
in my face.
by wearing
make up
you owe yourself..
no disgrace.
