Remains, by Snapped
|
Snap my bonal structure,
Unhook my joints,
Look into the anatomy,
Pull the veins, rip out my muscles,
Stab my heart,
And make it bleed...
Slice my arteries,
Suck the blood out clean,
Drain the misery of my mind,
Stamp out the tissues,
Hang me to dry,
It’s all that remains when you walked out of my life!

Wow. Once again amazing poem. I'm sorry for the pain you have or had.
Peace, Love, and Happiness.

I can feel your pain in this poem. I hope time will be able to heal his wound and the pain you are feeling will be numbed a bit. |

I like how you used so many physical descriptions to contrast and yet complement the emotional pain. Nice work. |
