*A winter’s night* (3), by *****Junior Walker*****
|
Shall I compare thee
To a winters night?
How cruel would that be
To a winters night?
You the star
That lights up my world
And how gracious you are
To share your beauty with the world
As pretty a sight
As any site seen
And tonight
So sensual and serene
In that laced white bra
Capturing the beauty of a snowflake
Beautiful, but look how cold you are
I remember the snowflake
On my tongue
More romantic than anything
Carols are being sung
Are you listening
My love for you grows and grows
Like the snow on the ground
How long it will last, who knows
But there’s plenty of it around

I like it... it's playful and very tongue-in-cheek. |
