How A Memory Is Made, by Trish
|
A memory is made in a moment
Imprinted not only in our minds
But etched in the fibers of our hearts
A scent, A color, A sound, A name
May cause recessed, faded images of grey
To take life and spring forward
Suddenly its as if you were transported
All the way back to that moment
The moment a memory was made |

I really appreciate all of your comments. I stopped writting for a while because of some personal things, but I'm back at it. A little rusty but back at it. I only wish that I had some of my old material to let you read. |

Great news for any one reading this, this poem has been selected to be published. And its a finalist in a contest I would not have entered it if it wasn't for all your warm comments. Thankyou |
