My brow began to sweat
My heart was racing
I was not able to
Resist temptation.

It's skin is very tough,
Inside it's heaven.
I got a taste of it
No second serving.

I'm at a banquet full,
But still I'm starving
Could be the greatest meal
To me it's famine.

My world so grey now
My food is tastless.
It is forbidden fruit,
That tastes the sweetest.

It may be poisonous,
But it's not tainted.
Far to beautiful
Could not be painted.
