Velvet Sky, by HangmanTheory
|
Last night as I looked to the sky,
I saw a shooting star.
And silly as it may be,
Upon it I made a wish.
I wished for you to be here with me.
Though it seems oceans separate us,
I can still feel your warmth.
And maybe I'll sound insane,
But I found myself thinking,
That you might be looking,
At the same velvet sky,
Embroidered with its natural diamonds,
It appears magical almost,
Bringing the far ever closer.
