Bubble

Like a rooster waking before sunrise My soul has finally awaken The plastic bubble around me has been popped, and suddenly, I’m not protected anymore. My smile has gone schizophrenic with new personalities- frown, smirk, astonishment, sadness are seen everyday across my visage. Words and phrases touch my clean ears like scalding coals. Images and visions scar my green eyes, marring their clarity. I want my bubble back! Send my smile back to therapy to lose the other personalities, I only want one. Give me ice to cool the burns But that would all be too easy. The scars on my eyes won’t fade They are no longer naive I’m growing out of my bubble world. Look at the yellow flecks drowning in emerald. My eyes show I’ve changed. I can never go back. *I wrote this in 5-8 minutes. It was a homework assignment I'd forgotten to do, and wrote it waiting for the bell to ring.*

Thats a very powerful and creative poem! I really love your use of words and the way you describe the intense feeling of being sprung out of your bubble! Very nice, I loved it. I give you a 10!

I think you're talking about Dissociative identity disorder, rather than schizioprenia...because the two are different. Anyway...nice poem!
