Exist, by Cutie In A Death Cab, by Thoughtless Encounters
|
quickly find me
i know i musn't pursue
these things must just come
and so here i wait for you
tunneling through my mind
dictating my thoughts
controlling my imagination
i sit pensive and distraught
i question your existence
am i waiting for a lie?
if none of this is true
then i might as well just die
the happiness i settle with
is nothing real to me
simple misconceptions
of who i seem to be
i need you to breathe
i need you to live
i've tried all else
given all there was to give
so patiently i wait
never a day goes by
where i don't imagine you
and try so hard not to cry
