<i> <font color="Navy"> She sits under the street lamp watching and waiting, what for no one knows. The kids walk by on their way home for tea and say hey night kid. She doesn't respnd, doesn't move or murmur. She justs sits and stares. No one even knows what truama she has faced in her life. During the day she isn't there she is invisible to all eyes, but at night she appears. Come rain or shine she is under that light, sitting waiting staring. Her eyes tell nothing and neither does her expression. As the night goes on everyone falls asleep and when they arise in the morning she is gone. I often wonder what she is thinking, who she is waiting for. I wonder if she is waiting for her night in shining armour or is she just waiting for her family to come and tell her they love her. One thing is for sure, she isn't homeless. She is always imaculate and wears clean clothes everyday. And that is the night kid. The person who sits under the street lamp waiting for a mystery thing or person.

I used to actually feel exactly like the girl you describe Kristy, i had friends, family, and yet all i wanted to do was be alone. I still do sometimes... maybe it was me that you saw...

I love this story Kirsty. Faith you think it is you and when I read it I thought this girl sounds familiar. Do you think She may be a little bit of everyone of us on earth today? I feel like she is the angel which calls one to set aside themselves to contemplate on Jesus.
