Dear friend,

Today as you went for a walk I delighted as you gazed in
wonder at the little Bluetit, I smiled as you enjoyed the
scents of the flower garden. I loved you being happy yet,
you never came to me and told me. You talked to your friends
of happy times, but not once did you tell me. Yes, it hurt
but I love you and I still wait.  Then at the end of the day
I gave you a sunset to seal the day.

I know that recently not everything has been happy. I wept
as you weeped, I felt your pain. I saw the emotional torment
you went through and felt it as well. I longed for you to
come to me with your sadness and your problems. I longed for
you to talk to me. But you didn't instead you went to your
human friends you tried to find refuge in books and other
comforts. You didn't realise that I was there for you ready
to wipe your tears away. I can handle all your burdens so
come to me.

I wrote this note just to tell you how much I love and care
for you. I want to be there for you in every minute of your
joy and sadness because I love you.
