Harmony Jane
Soft and silkie and fluffy fat
That's my precious pussy cat
With fur a silver two toned grey
And a plume tail that sways a certain way
Up in the morning bright and early
Her bloomers all wet and curly
Must have sat in the kitchen sink
Under the dripping faucet for a drink
Finally jumping on my bed
"Meow! Wake up you sleepy head"
Boondocker paws spread out wide
Kneading the sheet , not my tender hide
"I demand my breakfast in my dish
That nummy canned turkey and fish"
This insistant kitten won't shut up
So I give her milk in her cup
Lumping her canned food on her plate
I sneak back to bed. For me it waits
But not for long for soon I hear,
"Meow-Purr, get up mistress dear"
"It's time to brush my fur so fine
And put out my treats for me to dine"
After that I give her fresh water
Cause she's my precious fur daughter
Cleaning her potty box isn't really a chore
Which I do every morning and sometimes more
Because we are queens my bed is wide
So kitty and I nap each on our side
Each day is the same and when it is done
We sleep the night together as one
It's so nice to sleep with my furry friend
The two of us together we just blend.
