Silver, by bedazzled
|
The weight is dragging me down,
Where life picks at the seams,
Into the cold darkness,
Where with menace silver gleams,
Down into the emotion,
That cannot be released,
Where feeling physical pain,
Is a distinct relief,
The scars make sense again,
I remember the way I used to see,
Even though a week ago,
I understood the stupidity,
Now in the cold darkness,
Surrounded by dead dreams,
I'm so tempted to reach,
For that silvery gleam. |
